Eight core technology upgrades redefine "efficient rewinding" with the White 8 series rewinding machine.

Rewinding is a key process in tape production—large parent rolls are transformed into smaller finished rolls. However, traditional rewinding machines suffer from persistent issues such as excessive noise, slow roll changes, bubbling during long rewinds, and unstable tension.

The White 8 series rewinding machines (including models 806, 806GSI, 807S, 809, etc.) have undergone four significant technological iterations over the past three years, with the following eight innovations making "efficient rewinding" more than just a slogan.

1. Patented Silencer — Noise Reduction by 70%

During high-speed operation, the peeling of the tape and mechanical transmission generate piercing high-frequency noise. The White mechanical team has developed aintegrated labyrinth silencing structure that refracts and dissipates sound waves within multiple chambers. Measured data shows that at a speed of 260m/min, the noise level of the 8 series rewinding machine has dropped from the original 85dB(A) to below 72dB(A). This not only protects workers' hearing but also makes it easier for factories to pass occupational health and safety inspections.

2. Automatic Flip Shaft — Roll Change Without Stopping

Traditional rewinding machines require downtime to change rolls, involving unloading the shaft, threading a new tube, and restarting, which takes 2-3 minutes. The 807S and 809 models in the 8 series utilizefully servo-driven automatic flip shaft technology, allowing roll changes without stopping the equipment; simply press a button, and the working shaft automatically rotates 180°, completing both unloading and loading simultaneously. The roll change time is reduced to 15 seconds, improving efficiency by over 20%.

3. Automatic Labeling System — Position ±2mm

Each roll of tape requires labeling, but manual labeling is slow and often misaligned. The 807S and 809 are equipped withdual servo-driven automatic labeling heads that fully automate the peeling, positioning, and pressing of labels, controlling the labeling position error within ±2mm. Additionally, a "labeling delay distance" can be set to ensure labels are affixed at a fixed position at the end of the tape, meeting the uniformity requirements for e-commerce packaging.

4. Fully Automatic Tension Control — Bubble-Free Rewinding for Long Lengths

When rewinding long lengths (over 500m), unstable tension can cause the core to wrinkle or form bubbles. The high-end models of the 8 series employa fully automatic closed-loop tension control system that monitors material tension in real-time using tension sensors, with servo motors automatically adjusting the winding torque to ensure consistent tension from start to finish. Coupled withautomatic pressure following functionality, the winding pressure roller automatically lifts as the roll diameter increases, maintaining constant contact pressure. This combination effectively resolves bubbling and wrinkling issues during long rewinds.

5. Dual Layer Peeling System — Specialized for Electronic Adhesive Release Films

Many electronic tapes (such as OCA and anti-static films) come with release films that need to be peeled off and reattached during rewinding. The 806GSI in the 8 series is specifically designed witha dual-layer peeling system that allows for precise separation of the release film from the adhesive layer, along with subsequent synchronous rewinding. The entire process occurs without stopping the machine and does not generate static adhesion, making it particularly suitable for electronic materials with high cleanliness requirements.

6. Integrated Deviation Correction Unloading Rack — Eliminating Misalignment

Material misalignment is a common fault in rewinding machines, leading to uneven edges and even waste. The 8 series offers an optionalultrasonic edge detection + servo-driven correction integrated unloading rack that monitors the edge position of the material in real-time, automatically adjusting the lateral movement of the unloading rack to keep misalignment within ±1mm.

7. Modular Design — Maintenance Without Production Downtime

The 8 series designs consumable parts (such as blades, pressure roller bearings, and belts) as independent quick-change modules. Users can complete replacements within 5 minutes without tools, while other parts of the equipment continue to operate. This design significantly reduces downtime losses.

8. Cloud Parameter Backup (Coming Soon)

The newly developed IoT module can automatically upload the material formulas, operation logs, and alarm records of each 8 series rewinding machine to the cloud. When the equipment control system fails and needs replacement, the new controller can download the backed-up parameters with one click, restoring operation without the need for readjustment.
